Red Gold Tomatoes Review and Giveaway!!! :)

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by the Red Gold Company to see if I was interested in receiving a FREE box of goodies and products from Red Gold Tomatoes to try out.
Of course I said yes, since I LOVE LOVE LOVE cooking with tomatoes. We LOVE Chili, Spaghetti...shoot...ANYTHING we can put diced tomatoes in!
AND, my 2 favorite boys are ketchup FREAKS! Seriously. We go through this stuff like crazy!

I did a little research and was happy to learn that Red Gold Tomatoes are grown in well-tended fields, right here in the Midwest, and harvested at the moment that the tomatoes are at their ripest. The people of Red Gold take great pride in their products and have been very passionate about their tomatoes since the family company began in 1942. Now, 4 generations later, the Red Gold family keeps their mission alive..."To produce the freshest, best tasting tomato products in the world."

So, last week I received the big white box in the mail with 4 cans of various Red Gold diced tomatoes,  a bottle of Red Gold ketchup, a nice sized reusable grocery bag, keychain, magnet, recipe cards and my NEW favorite cookbook! The cookbook is titled "Heartwarming Recipes for the Busy Cook" and flipping through the pages, I soon found out that I will probably be making like 90% of the recipes in this book! Yes, they are JUST THAT YUMMY looking :)
Just to make sure everyone would like what I made, I had my pickiest eater choose a recipe for me to make and she picked out the Sonora Style Spaghetti. And, being a BIG Italian food/Spaghetti loving family, we are ALWAYS looking for yummy ways to spice up our plain ol' Spaghetti...and I DO have to say that this recipe DID THE TRICK :)
I made that up for lunch, and it took maybe 40 mins. from the start until I was serving it up!

I shredded some mozzarella on top and added a few of my meatballs and OH MY GOODNESS! It was SO GOOD! The diced tomatoes just burst at the perfect time in your mouth! The wonderfully fresh tomato aroma never left...even after cooking them!

The wonderful people over at Red Gold are giving one of my readers the opportunity to win the same Red Gold prize pack that I was given to sample :)
Isn't that awesome!?! I soooooooooo LOVE Givewaways!
