about me/contact me

Hello Everyone!
Are you ready to learn how to keep more of your money? Always wanted to start couponing but never really knew where to start?
Well, you are in the RIGHT place! I cannot wait to start helping you save on the things you need, so you can afford the things you want :)

First, let me introduce myself...

My name is Mary Jo and I am a Christian mom to 3; 2 teen girls and 1 toddler boy. AND a very blessed Christian wife to one heck of a great guy :)

I started hard-core couponing and deal seeking in early 2009 and have saved THOUSANDS on groceries and everyday needs and continue to do so! All of that IS a bit time consuming, so couponing and deal seeking is MY Part-Time job.

I am just a regular cool Mom. (at least I would like to think so!)
I am not your average, stereo-typical "coupon crazy lady". I am a new generation of couponing, money saving moms.
I am not one of the radicals that dilutes milk with water to make it last longer or only buys generic brands. To tell you the truth, we RARELY buy generic brands because of all the great deals I find!
And that is why I am here.

I want to share all of the deals with the wonderful moms, dads, well...everyone, in the Green Bay area and beyond!
We have a wonderful city that is just buggin' with deals...all waiting for you to take advantage of them!

AND if you ever find an awesome deal, please let me know and I will post it for you! :)

I also wanted to share one of my FAVORITE quotes :)
"When I am blessed beyond what I need, the extra is not for me, but for someone in need"

With the show TLC's Extreme Couponing making a big splash amongst bloggers and couponers, I just have to say that having a modest stockpile is AWESOME! I have one, that you can see HERE.
Yes, not much compared to the people in the 1st episode of Extreme Couponing...but there is a reason for that!
Giving is a HUGE part of my life. I LOVE to give. I do find MANY deals and use MANY coupons when I shop (so much that EVERY time I grocery shop, the registers need Manager approval!!), and being able to coupon and deal seek gives me the opportunity to stock up on things my family needs. But a family of 5 doesn't need 40 toothbrushes, 20 sticks of deodorant or even 30 boxes of cereal. Yes, I keep a couple months supply of everything, but the extra goes to my friends, my family and my church pantry. I encourage you all to give your "extreme" excess to your local food pantries or help out a neighbor in need...and remember...
